When a lean loses to a cap

Five constructive leans, zero fills. Not an unlucky day — the arithmetic says a capped process overrules its sizing formula across the entire range anyone would operate in.

What you will be able to do

After this lesson you can explain why a gate refusing a lean is not a contradiction between two instruments, compute how often a position cap binds against a Kelly-derived size, and write the honest one-line record of a day on which nothing happened.

Inside this lesson

  • Five leans, zero fills
  • How often does the rule win? Almost always
  • So what is the formula for?
  • What to write when nothing happens
