Engines
Lesson 10 of 22 · 13 min
How models score — without becoming advice
A consensus engine is a voting rule, and every voting rule throws information away. This lesson opens the tally, finds what it discards, and shows why the headline word is the least informative part of it.
What you will be able to do
After this lesson you can explain what a normalised tally does with abstaining versus mixed nodes, name two distinct situations that produce an identical headline, state how far a given classroom reading sits from a different word, and say why sizing and cycle study are shown but not counted.
Inside this lesson
- Twelve nodes, ten votes
- Set the votes yourself
- How far is this reading from a different reading?
- Leans, not orders
