How to read a research note (and what to ignore)

Fluent text is cheap now. This lesson gives you an auditing procedure that works on any note, from any model, and does not need updating when the models improve.

What you will be able to do

After this lesson you can audit any research note by tracing each numeric claim to a grounded source or rejecting it, explain why a node with no input must abstain rather than infer, and identify the sentence shapes that turn a description into an instruction.

Inside this lesson

  • Every number has a parent, or it is fiction
  • Audit one
  • Zero articles means abstain
  • Narratives love to become orders

Audit includes orientation and the two-rooms lesson. The rest of the path is paid course access — still education, still not advice.
